Defense against a grounded opponent, trying to trap you in their guard
- Press the opponent’s legs open further. As they resist, close their legs completely, and push them to the side.
- Rush in, and assume side mount.
- Ideally, you accomplish this by performing a side breakfall hitting them with a downward elbow strike, much like the elbow drop or “People’s Elbow” from professional wrestling.
