Defense against a bear hug, over the arms

  • Off-balance the opponent by using your knees to spread their legs apart.
  • Simultaneously execute a knee kick to the groin, and double hammerfists or tate-shutō strikes to the opponent’s kidneys or floating ribs.
  • Rising palmheel strike to the chin.
  • Front kick to the groin.
