Defense against a pursuit punch

  • Step inside, across yourself into a hook stance with an outside shutō block.
  • Turn outside with a rear kick.
  • Step in, with a ridgehand to the opponent’s groin, immediately followed by a gyaku-sakuite.
  • Uraken uchi to face or chin.
