Defense against a knife stab to the abdomen

  • 7-3 inside with an outside shutō block to the base of the thumb joint.
    • Even if the opponent retains the weapon with just their fingers, the grip on the weapon will be so weak that it cannot do any damage.
  • If opponent still has the knife, grab their wrist.
  • Finish the opponent with one of the following:
    • Uraken uchi to the face
    • Makikomi-shutō to the throat.
    • Front kick to the groin.
