Defense against a pursuit punch or knife stab
- 7-3 outside, trapping the opponent’s hand with a downward X-block.
- Grab the opponent’s wrist and tenkan outside, raising your hands to your forehead.
- Turn your hips outside another 180°, to complete a full turn, and takedown the opponent with a shihō-nage.
