Defense against a front kick
- 7-3 inside, catching the opponent’s kick with a scooping block.
- Step forward and raise your same-side arm, pushing the opponent’s leg up for a takedown.
- This is a variant of the Heaven-and-Earth throw.
- For best results, execute a simultaneous palmheel strike to the chin or chest.
