Defense against a pursuit punch

  • 7-3 outside, wrapping your opposite-side arm around the opponent’s elbow for a standing arm bar.
  • Same-side palm heel to the lower spine (e.g., the small of the back; sacrum).
  • Grab the opponent by the hair or brow ridge, and pull them over your knee.
  • Strike the opponent’s eyes or throat.
