Defense against an opponent holding a knife to your throat from behind
- Push the opponent’s elbow up with your same-side hand, to knock the knife down and away from your throat.
- Opposite-side grab the opponent’s wrist. Step back, ducking under their arm to slide out of their rear mug.
- Apply a hammerlock or irimi hold.
