Defense against a downward stab
- 7-3 inside with a same-side rising block to the opponent’s wrist or elbow.
- Twist inside, sliding your blocking hand down the opponent’s arm, into a wrist grab. Perform a standing arm bar with you opposite-side hand.
- Perform tai-otoshi.
