Defense against a pursuit punch

  • 7-3 outside, pressing the opponent’s fist down.
  • Feed the opponent’s hand between their legs. Step behind the opponent, and pull up on their wrist.
  • Grab the back of the opponent’s collar or hood your free hand under their chin (as in a irimi hold) for a come-along hold.
