Defense against a pursuit punch
- 7-3 outside with an outside shutō block.
- Grab the opponent’s gi at the bicep, pulling them down into knee kick to the solar plexus, abdomen, or groin.
- Strike the back of the opponent’s neck with a hassō-shutō.
