[Video of this waza fast and slow, from the side, and ideally, overhead]
Defense against a three-man attack; pursuit punching at each side
- Simultaneously side kick one of the opponent at your side; hitting the other with a simultaneous (Kūsankū) pressing block and uraken uchi.
- Upon re-chambering, step across yourself, entering a transitional hook stance with an outside shutō block to defend against the forward attacker.
- 7-3 outside the front attacker, striking the side of their neck with a tate-shutō.
- Tenkan behind the forward attacker, using them as a human shield.
